Our teams focus on the Group’s core business of Gas Engineering and Cryogenics in bringing out new technologies in response or in anticipation of the issues you face, as customers.
Technical knowledge available within the group and in the entity is the starting point for our engineers in tailoring existing technologies to your specific application fields. Sometimes they even have to create technology packages themselves and develop them in response to new issues that arise.
With its turbines potentially reaching rotation speeds of up to 300,000 revs per minute for several tens of thousands of hours, Air Liquide has perfected static gas bearing technology for its turbines in the interests of greater reliability. The gas cycle is used for braking and lift, and there is therefore no pollution of the expanded gas. These turbines, arranged in series, are found in all refrigeration and liquefaction equipment, both standard and specific.
