Protective breathing equipment, more commonly known as hoods, is a product mass produced at Air Liquide. It is specially designed for commercial flight crewmembers so that they can move about in a polluted atmosphere, and more than 40,000 copies have been sold world-wide since it was created in the late 1980s. This equipment is now used by some 70 airline companies, European, Asiatic, Australian, and American.
