The teams at Air Liquide are capable of managing complex, large-scale scientific and technological projects and more often than not in a multi-cultural environment.

For 22 months, 70 of our colleagues from a dozen different professional backgrounds worked 100 meters underground, in a tunnel with a circumference of 27 kilometers. With no spatial landmarks, no system of reference to the surface and with no GPS, they connected the 300 points on the line to the LHC magnets, with an assembly tolerance level, on some components, of 0.2%, in 3 dimensions. Just some of the dramatic statistics that give an idea of the scale of this exceptional project, a veritable industrial program in its size and complexity.
