Dilution cooler – 0.1 K – 1.6 K

2 cooling levels, no vibrations, no interference fields

This cooler, for very low temperatures (100 mK), is particularly stable, operates continuously and is ideal for instruments that use ultra-sensitive on-board cryogenic detectors in satellites.

Pulse tube cryocoolers – 10 K – 80 K

A technological alternative to Stirling cryo-coolers

These coolers operate with no cold moving parts, and, compared with Stirling coolers, afford an increased operating lifetime and very low levels of vibration at reduced cost.

Turbo-Brayton coolers – 2-5 K – 200 K

Great thermodynamic efficiency, high power, high levels of reliability, very little exported vibration, flexibility of use for space cryogenics

These coolers use a high-speed turbine engine and can give a very wide range of cold power from 0.1 to 100 W at temperatures varying between 2-5 K and 200 K, or even more depending on the fluid used.
