Fuelling stations  [ Return towards  Hydrogen energy  ]

  Engineers from Air Liquide are developing fuelling stations to refuel vehicle tanks with gaseous hydrogen at pressures of up to 700 bars. The innovative technologies developed by the Group’s teams ensure that a car can be refuelled in less than 5 minutes, in conditions that are just as straightforward as for petrol or diesel and in complete safety.

Air Liquide has already built and installed over 30 hydrogen stations worldwide.

For example, General Motors has opted to use the Group’s technologies to refuel vehicles developed in the United States under its Driveway program; as did BC Transit by asking Air Liquide to ensure the fuelling of a captive fleet of 20 buses in Canada. Air Liquide has also assisted Nissan, Renault, etc
