OBIGGS for ALH

Air Liquide has developed and qualified an on-board nitrogen generator (OBIGGS standing for On Board Inert Gas Generating System), and the related supply system, in order to reduce the risks of explosion in the tanks of the ALH, a helicopter developed and manufactured by the Indian company HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited).
